Ex-Goldman Sachs colleagues are paying tribute to Cassandra Seier, a former New York-based managing director in futures electronic execution and clearing sales.

It’s understood that Seier died in a bike accident in the Exuma district of the Bahamas.
Seier spent 24 years at Goldman Sachs. One former MD who worked with her there describes her as an “amazing woman.” She left Goldman in 2022 and became head of international capital markets at the New York Stock Exchange. Seier was also CEO and president of the group Women in Financial Markets.
